Orders

How do I know my order went through?

You will receive an order confirmation email within a few minutes of checkout. If you do not see it, check your spam folder or reach out to us with the name and email used at checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We move fast on fulfillment, so contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not shipped yet, we can usually update the address, swap a size, or cancel it. Once it ships, we cannot make changes.

My order says delivered but I do not have it. What do I do?

Check with neighbors and your building's mail area first, and give it 24 hours since carriers sometimes mark packages early. If you added Onward to your order, you can file a claim right away for a refund or reorder. If not, contact us and we will open a trace with the carrier.

Shipping and Handling

How long does processing take?

Orders are processed within 1 business days. During drops and holiday periods, processing can take a little longer. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

How long does shipping take?

Standard domestic shipping typically arrives within 3 to 7 business days after your order ships. Expedited options are available at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International transit times vary by destination, typically 7 to 21 business days. Any customs fees, duties, or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in shipping charges.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. Keep an eye on our email and SMS lists for free shipping promos.

Do you offer local pickup?

Not at this time. All orders ship directly to you.

Onward Order Upgrade

What is Onward Order Upgrade?

We have partnered with Onward to provide carbon neutral shipping protection against lost, stolen, and damaged packages. When you add Onward to your order, you are fully protected in the event something goes wrong with your shipment. Simply add Onward to your cart at checkout and your delivery is covered.

How does Onward work?

Onward is an order upgrade service that covers packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. If you add Onward to your order, you can file a claim in just a few clicks and choose between a refund or a reorder based on the type of claim. Claims are typically reviewed for approval within a day once all requested information has been received.

How do I file a claim for a lost, stolen, or damaged package?

You can quickly file a claim through the email Onward sends you after you place your order, or you can file directly at app.useonward.com/make-a-claim.

Who does Onward partner with to make shipments carbon neutral?

Onward has partnered with Cool Effect, a 501c3 nonprofit climate change organization, to neutralize carbon emissions from shipments covered with Onward. When you add Onward to your order, you are automatically taking action against climate change.

Products

Will sold out items restock?

Some pieces restock and some are limited runs that never come back. The best way to know is to sign up for restock notifications on the product page and join our email and SMS lists.

How do I care for my Commons Studios pieces?

For printed and embroidered garments, machine wash cold inside out and hang dry. Avoid high heat, which can damage prints and cause shrinkage. Specific care instructions are listed on each product page.

When do new drops happen?

Drop dates are announced on our Instagram and through our email and SMS lists. Subscribers get first access, so sign up if you do not want to miss a release.

Sizing

How do your sizes fit?

Most Commons Studios pieces have a relaxed, slightly oversized streetwear fit. If you prefer a true-to-size look, we recommend sizing down. If you want the intended oversized fit, order your normal size.

Where can I find a size chart?

Every product page includes a size chart with garment measurements. Compare those measurements against a similar piece you already own for the most accurate fit.

What if I am between sizes?

For hoodies, crewnecks, and tees, size up if you want a roomier fit and stay at your normal size for a cleaner fit. For bottoms, we recommend going with your larger size.

Returns and Exchanges

What is your return policy?

Unworn, unwashed items with tags attached can be returned within [30] days of delivery for a refund or store credit. Final sale items and limited drops marked as such cannot be returned.

How do I start a return or exchange?

Contact us with your order number and the item you want to return or exchange. We will send you instructions and a return address. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

I received a damaged or wrong item. What now?

Reach out within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will make it right with a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
