At Commons Studios, we take pride in the curation and design process for 1 of 1 custom garments. The ability to acquire a piece of clothing and give it new life is sewn into our brand’s DNA. With over 4 years of experience sourcing vintage garments from around the world, our team can find the perfect canvas for your personalized project. Contrarily, we understand that a certain loved piece in your closet may just need proper updates to re-spark your interest, which is why we also offer the option to have a preselected garment sent to us to work on. Once the base of the custom has been selected, we move forward to a personalized call with our head sewist to discuss your desires for the final product, along with input from our team to help you explore all of the possibilities to make your piece truly 1 of 1. Once the details have been ironed out, we get to work. All custom orders are constructed in-house and are made to order, shipping within 4-6 weeks of the collaborative design process completion (subject to ship sooner depending on the complexity of the customization).

The selection process is extremely limited per month. If your inquiry is selected, we require prompt response times and communication in order to ensure the timeline is met and you get your piece in a timely manner. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required before the line of communication begins. Once your design consultation has been completed, we will reach out within 1-2 business days with the remaining cost of your order. This final cost will be calculated based on the amount of work, materials, sourcing, technique, ect. going into your 1 of 1 piece.
